Did you know...

According to Marco International Inc. (2008) forty-seven percent of Ethiopian children under five years are chronically malnourished.

How you can help

The purpose of this project is to target 900 Ethiopian smallholder men and women farmers to increase vegetable production, to engage them in preservation to reduce post-harvest loss, and to link marketing knowledge with production decisions. This in turn will improve livelihoods, income, household nutrition, and opportunities to acquire new skills and technology.

About this nonprofit

Nevada Green Institute’s mission is to promote public awareness and discussion about innovative ideas, technologies, and practices that foster a sustainable environment. Our strategy to build such awareness is by linking regional knowledge for a sustainable future. We foster knowledge partnership to define issues and solutions to build adaptive capacity to deal with technological change.
