Did you know...

According to the Environmental Protection Agency, 500 years from now, the foam coffee cup you used this morning will still be sitting in a landfill.

How you can help

Our program employs individuals with disabilities to recycle Styrofoam, plastic, and cardboard. Once trained, our employees become more productive members of the community, earning a competitive wage while helping the environment. The local community benefits as well, reducing their waste and recycling materials that previously would be thrown into a landfill.

About this nonprofit

The mission of New Avenues to Independence is to provide opportunities for people with disabilities to become more independent and productive members of society by offering quality support services and developing innovative and inclusive programs.
